Building Scalable Web Applications
We’re looking for talented application developers to spearhead our application development process and support the maintenance of our existing apps. If you’re passionate about creating high-quality apps we’d love to hear from you! In this role you will be a member of our web development team, focused on building and maintaining both web and mobile apps. The ideal candidate has a natural affinity for writing well-organized, scalable code and has experience with best practices in security protocols & AWS technologies.
The Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- Someone to build and maintain both web and mobile applications for our organization
- A Developer that will collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure applications align with the organization’s goals, as well as customer needs
- Someone to oversee the performance of applications to ensure they’re always running properly
- Someone to improve our overall application development process and continuously find ways to advance our apps
- Web App proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS, and HTML5
- Native App proficiency with React, VueJS, Angular & the deployment processes involved with Apple & Android App Store approvals.
- Experience with AWS Technologies & Security Protocols
- Third Party API Integration
- Experience providing technical support for clients & users of your work
- 5+ years of experience working in application development
Job Duties:
- Research & Strategic Proposal Collaboration with Project Strategist
- Daily Build & Project Progress Monitoring w/ Project Management Team
- Milestone Check-Ins with Project Team
- Beta Testing & Punch Listing with PM & Client
- Project Launch & Progress Monitoring
- Proactive & Reactive Technical Support
- Phased Iteration & Addendum Work
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web/mobile apps and the database that power them
- Find solutions to improve performance and security
- Remain current on technology trends to keep our software as innovative as possible
- Stay on track of the application lifecycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on time
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience (professional or otherwise) as an application developer.
- Writing custom code and utilize existing tools when appropriate
- Deep understanding of core programming principles, including design
- Critical and analytical thinking skills
- Deep attention to detail
- The ability to think about all of the ways someone could break what you create.
